MONEY LAUNDERING does it happen out of the U.K.a lot?

Is it the UK custom, for men to send money to USA citizen's being a women with intent to Marry them? After only knowing them for 2 months? Even if they already have a us Citizenship I mean what girl would not like to receive $, a ring, etc!!!!!!!!! From a man that lives on Knotting-ham Lane!!! ta ta!!!And by the where the heck is Knotting-ham Lane?And also can you even get U.S. dollars in the U.K.? Tx for any help one may give.
