Why did pokerstars get shut down? please dumb it down for me so i understand?

it got shut down because USA is run by a stupid government who should worry about more important things like creating jobs for its starving out of work citizens.....not worry about people harmlessly playing poker for a few dollars online, SHAME ON YOU USA GOVERNMENT AND YOUR IDIOT PRESIDENT
