Soapnuts safety around kittie cats?

im a slave to my cats and want to make their enviroment as safe as possible so im looking for green cleaning ideas for my home that are non toxic to the cats and safe for me too, ive recently brough soapnuts to launder with but ive read about making a cleaning liquid solution and was wondering how safe it would be to use around them ? any ideas would be great
