What's my ex trying to do here?

it does seem weird and it may be because she is conflicted within herself she may like you but doesn't want to get to involved so she can have fun while in school but at the same time she knows your there and every now and then wants to keep in touch i don't think you should read to much into it keep moving on as you were and if she texts you text back unless you don't want her to and ask her not to other wise keep moving forward
